TAKING A BREAK FROM WRITING TO DO MISSIONS? |

Could a Break be in Order?
Yes. I'm taking a rest from Internet writing for a few months (possibly longer) to get established in an overseas culture--our family's new home. NNF will remain up and running, but I will probably not post any new articles for a while. (You can sign up for a newsletter that will come out when I've resumed my writing at NNF--look to the top right.)
I want to give priority to language learning, cultural adjustment, new responsibilities, and relationships. It's been several years since I lived overseas, and now I'm going with a family. We're going to a different culture than (where I lived) before. I've got a lot of learning and feeling helpless to do.
Meanwhile, surf through the many articles here at NNF and delight in God as he sovereignly reaches the nations. And don't forget your part in God's extended hand to the nations. "Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples" (Psalm 96:3, NASV). He is a global God, and, if you are in Christ, you are to be a global Christian.

Proverbs 6:12-15 A scoundrel and villain, who goes about with a corrupt mouth, who winks with his eye, signals with his feet and motions with his fingers, who plots evil with deceit in his heart-he always stirs up dissension. Therefore disaster will overtake him in an instant; he will suddenly be destroyed-without remedy.
