Written by Kevin L. Howard

A couple of weeks ago, two Vietnamese friends came to my house in Hanoi.  We talked for a couple of hours in Vietnamese, because they don't speak much English.  After an hour, one of them asked, "What is the most important thing to you?"  I thought, "He didn't just ask that, did he?"

So I told the story of creation and shared the gospel.  My roommate quietly prayed while I talked with them.  They listened intently to my broken Vietnamese.  The Lord blessed my roommate's prayers, because the Lord touched my tongue, giving me special grace to speak about him with a greater ease than I normally speak Vietnamese.  I never feel more alive than when I share Christ in Vietnamese.

After the discussion, I gave them the "JESUS" film to take home.  I talked to one of them the other day, and they watched the film at the restaurant where they work.  A smile blazed a trail across my face when I heard this, because that means other Vietnamese employees watched it too.  They enjoyed it and now understand more about Christ, but they haven't yet believed.  Interestingly, their names are Viet and Nam.  Pray for Viet Nam's salvation!
