SERMON OUTLINE, Walk in Wisdom

Central idea of text: Paul encourages the Ephesians to walk in wisdom.

Proposition: Christians need to live wisely.

Major points:

I. To walk in wisdom, believers must examine their lives (15).

II. To walk in wisdom, believers must understand the Lord's will (17).

III. To walk in wisdom, believers must be filled with God's Spirit (18).

Specific objective:

  • After the message, the listeners will write the characteristics of someone walking in wisdom.
  • After the message, the listeners will list at least two practical truths which shall assist them in understanding the Lord's will.
  • After the message, the listeners will recite the results of being Spirit filled.
