I. What you do in this life, with only this life in mind, will pass away (wasted)
Thieves broke into our house when I was a kid
Ladies prayer request for them to know which entertainment system to buy with their $1,500.00
Christmas gifts (give as much to missions)

II. What you do in this life, with eternity in mind, will last forever (invested)
Deferred gratification: Savings account: Spiritual hope chest
Pilgrims passing through, Heb 11:13-14 and Col 3:1-4
When its test time, all of the previous study is worth it
With God, the best is yet to come (You're not in heaven yet)
You can't take it with you, but you can send it on ahead of you
How to store in heaven? Cherish right thing

III. What you love in this life indicates the god (?God) of your life. (Examine)
Your heart finds treasure: you were made to treasure [something] deeply
What is your treasure?
Show me your bank account and calendar and I'll show you your treasure
What takes/gets/receives most of your time? Money? Energy? Thoughts? That is your priority (treasure)

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Mt 16:26, "What does it profit a man to gain...."
Assignment: Reprioritize your budget and calendar to reflect a life laying up treasure in heaven.
