Dear Hugh [e-mail deleted]:
I'm for the war in Iraq and I come from a family filled with people who served in the military, and I love your show, but you were barking up the wrong tree with Joel Stein [reporter for the L.A. Times who wrote opt-ed piece "I Don't Support Our Troops"].
Yes, he's ignorant about the military…I would even say he's an idiot…but his point in his article is a valid one. Because of your disdain for his position, you couldn't hear his point: people who oppose the war can't also honestly say they support the troops. That way his point, and you kept trying to argue with him [on your show] about points he wasn't trying to make in his article.
Sincerely, Kevin L. Howard |

Ms. Goldstein [e-mail deleted],
Since women are treated equally now in the US, why do you continue to promote feminist causes? Isn't this a dead issue?
Thank you for your response, Kevin

MEDIA'S ANTI-WAR BIAS |

Dear KNBC [Local TV station in Los Angeles area]:
You ran a story this morning around 6:30 talking about an anti-war rally in the Southland. You barely mentioned the people supporting the war, and you used a sound bite from someone (supporting the war) who didn't speak English well. Is this your idea of fair reporting? Are you purposefully trying to take an anti-war position?
I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Kevin L. Howard |

JEWS AND PALESTINIANS |

Dear Newspaper Editor [Submitted to paper in Tennessee],
Frequently we see international protests against Israel when they attack Palestinians. But why do we never see these same outcries against the Palestinians when there's a suicide bombing or a riot in the streets of Israel? Why don't people rise up to protest the terrorist acts of the Palestinians and radical Muslims the way they oppose the actions of Israel? Perhaps Jews aren't overreacting when they speak of a deeply entrenched anti-Semitism in the world.
Sincerely,
Kevin L. Howard
